Capital Region

Two members discussing in Capital Region

The Capital Region is one of OLLI at UNH’s most active communities, proudly serving more than one third of our membership across more than 50 towns and cities surrounding Concord.

Courses in this region are held at convenient locations such as NHTI – Concord’s Community College and the City Wide Community Center, along with an exciting array of off-campus experiences that showcase the richness of our local area. Whether you're diving into history, exploring the arts, or taking part in a hands-on workshop, there's always something new to discover.

Behind the scenes, our dedicated volunteer-led Curriculum Committee powers an impressive lineup of over 100 courses each year. But learning is just the beginning.

Members in the Capital Region also enjoy a variety of free, fun, and informal social gatherings, including:

  • Mug ’n’ Muffin meetups for friendly conversation over coffee,
  • Game Days for a little friendly competition,
  • A lively Book Club for thoughtful discussion,
  • And regular Lunch Bunch outings to local eateries.

Want to get more involved? Whether you're interested in helping shape our programming or simply want to join in the fun, we encourage you to reach out to your regional volunteer leaders. They’ll be happy to help you connect, contribute, and feel right at home.
