About Us

Welcome to OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute)

OLLI at UNH is a vibrant, member-driven educational program designed for lifelong learners aged 50 and over. Our focus is on learning for the sheer enjoyment of it, within a supportive and relaxed environment. Here, you'll explore a wide range of ideas and interests alongside a community of peers—without any tests, grades, or college prerequisites!

Our volunteer committees create non-credit courses and social events based on member interests. We offer an array of events, trips, social activities, and volunteer opportunities to enrich your experience.

Our ongoing goals include delivering high-quality courses, ensuring financial sustainability, broadening our community partnerships, and making “OLLI at UNH” a well-known name throughout New Hampshire.

Courses and events take place at university facilities or convenient community locations. They are led by volunteers, educators and community leaders who are passionate about sharing their knowledge with members, who, in turn, contribute to a dynamic exchange of ideas.

OLLI at UNH is part of a network of 124 Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes across the nation, supported in part by the Bernard Osher Foundation. Our program is self-sustaining, relying on program fees, in-kind contributions from UNH, endowments from the Bernard Osher Foundation, generous member donors, and sponsorships. Since our inception in 2004, both our membership and the range of courses and opportunities we offer have continued to expand throughout our four learning regions and online.
