These 60-90 minute virtual trainings cover topics related to invention education, curriculum, preparation for Invention Convention and more. Ask questions, share best practices and network with YIP's community of STEM educators and prepare to lead your students on an epic invention journey this year.

Bringing Invention Education to Your Classroom This workshop is an introduction to the Young Inventors' Program and Invention Convention and how they encourage students to become better critical thinkers, problem identifiers and problem solvers. You will gain access to tools and resources to help you bring invention education to your classroom.

Young Inventors' Program- A Deep Dive Into Inventing This workshop will review YIP's curricula. You will experience hands-on YIP activities and practice invention and design thinking as you prepare to lead YIP with students. YIP will share resouces and allow time for Q&A.

YIP Best Practices Join YIP for a best pratice sharing session. Our panel of veteran YIP educators will share their experiences and their tips for success. Come with your questions and network with our community to be inspired to fuel the spark of innovation with your students.

Hosting a School Invention Fair Learn how to plan and host an invention fair for your school/site. YIP has several models for hosting successful invention fairs to engage with the local community for a celebration of inventor achievement. We will discuss formats, volunteer recruitment, awards and more. YIP will share resources and allow time for Q&A.

Nominating Students for the NH Invention Convention/VT Invention Fair YIP staff will discuss the process for nominating students to compete in our state invention conventions. Students must be nominated by a YIP educator in order to be invited to the NH Invention Convention/VT Invention Fair. You will hear important information to help you with your nominations and be prepared to answer common questions asked by families about the events.
