Info for Fall 2025 session(s) is expected to be posted August/September 2025.

The Piano Extension Program (PEP) has been providing piano lessons and music education to area students of all ages and levels at a reasonable rate since 1996. Founded by the late Arlene Kies, piano lessons at the PEP are taught by a qualified roster of teachers. Participants can choose to enroll with any of the following teacher types:

  • High School student upperclassmen who are new to teaching and coached directly by the PEP Director
  • Undergraduate students in the UNH Music Department
  • Graduate students in the UNH Music Department

At the end of each semester, students have the opportunity to perform in a recital. Please note that the Piano Extension Program follows the university's academic schedule. There are no lessons during the summer.
