New Hampshire Youth Band

New Hampshire Youth Band will not be offered in Fall 2025 and will resume in Spring, 2026. Enrollment for the Spring semester is expected to open in late Fall.

The New Hampshire Youth Band provides an enriched performance experience for interested band instrument students in the Seacoast region while simultaneously providing UNH's future school band teachers with useful pedagogical experience.

These experiences will be guided by a concern for high quality, age-appropriate repertoire, by personal instruction between band members and UNH student section leaders, by using sophisticated instruments and equipment in a dedicated music environment, along with other experiences that illuminate the performance experience.

Families registering more than one child at the same time through a Family Account can receive a $25 discount. You must have two or more children's enrollments in your cart for the discount to be available.  Once all enrolling children have been added to the cart, click on 'Apply a Discount' and select the discount in the drop down. Only one discount can be used per enrollment and payment, and the discount must be applied upon initial enrollment for all children. It cannot be applied after an enrollment has been completed.

Family Accounts are recommended for enrolling multiple children from one family in any UNH Youth Program. If you already have an account in our system, you will be asked to log into either a Family or Student Account after adding the program to your shopping cart. Be sure to use the username and password for the type of account you wish to log into. We recommend attempting to log into the Student or Family account before enrollment opens as this will minimize difficulty and time while enrolling. Email youth.programs@unh.edu if you require assistance recovering your account information. Do not create a new account if you have one already.

If you don't have an account already, you can set up an account at any time, even before you begin the registration process. If creating a student account, the account profile should be in the name of the participating student, but the email should be that of a parent/guardian. Review the Online Registration Instructions before creating a new account.

UNH has partnered with CampDoc to quicken the enrollment process. Enrollments and payments are done here through our current enrollment system, but no registration questions will be required at that time. Those will be completed through the CampDoc supplemental software.

Within a few days of enrolling, the email address provided on the student/family account will receive an invitation or reminder email notification from “University of New Hampshire via CampDoc.” Due to very brief timelines between enrollment and the program start date, it is important that a parent/guardian respond to the CampDoc email and complete the registration questions promptly. Even if the student already has a CampDoc account, a parent/guardian will need to log into the student's account to complete any necessary questions for this program, and to review and re-sign some waivers. 

A participant’s CampDoc profile must be 100% complete before they can attend the program.
