Proper safety procedures MUST be followed for users to utilize equipment and tools in the Makerspace. When users arrive at the Makerspace, they are required to use their UNH IDs to swipe into the tablet in the stand at the entrance. By swiping in, users agree to the Makerspace user agreement, ensuring they adhere to the requirements set forth by the Makerspace administration.
In order to maintain a welcoming environment and to ensure proper equipment operation, users are expected to keep the shop clean during and after their use of the equipment and tools. This includes vacuuming of any debris generated during their use of the space.
As part of our COVID-19 precautions, walk-in access to the Makerspace will be reduced for the Fall 2020 semester. Only 1 user can book time with a Mentor at a time via our scheduling system, but the user can bring one UNH friend. Masks and active Wildcat Pass required. Sanitize your workspace after use. Book your spot in the Makerspace by visiting our scheduling platform. The front door is staying locked, so your mentor will meet you outside. Send him/her/them a message in our Slack channel when you arrive.
