President's Statement on Inclusive Excellence
As New Hampshire’s public research university, our mission is to provide access to high quality educational opportunities and research that benefits individuals, communities, and society. Inclusive excellence and belonging are part of our core values, and we are committed to fostering a culture and community in which all may thrive. In the context of higher education, this means providing access to education for students and employment for faculty and staff from a variety of backgrounds but also providing the opportunity and support for all to succeed in their personal and professional goals. As an institution, we commit to doing what we can to ensure that all can succeed at UNH, in the state, and beyond.
