Portland Orations will present the 50th Anniversary Tour of the iconic musical Jesus Christ Superstar, featuring award-winning music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the background of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ, as seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. A product of its era, Jesus Christ Superstar reflects the rock roots that defined a generation. The legendary score includes such hits as I Don’t Know How to Love Him, Superstar, and Gethsemene. You won’t want to miss this production!
Following the matinee, we’ll return to The Muddy Rudder in Yarmouth ME for an early dinner. To begin, a Caesar salad. Entrée choices are: (1) Baked Haddock in a lobster sherry cream sauce; (2) Pot Roast with gravy; and (3) Chicken Piccata in a lemon caper sauce. All entrees will be served with a starch and vegetable. For dessert enjoy Blueberry Apple Crisp. Coffee, tea and soft drinks are also included.
Handicap Accessible: The Merrill Auditorium and The Muddy Rudder are both handicap accessible.
