This morning we are delighted to return to Symphony Hall for an Open Rehearsal of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Upon arrival, you’ll have time for coffee or a snack in the Symphony Café before the rehearsal begins at 10:30AM. Andris Nelsons conducts today’s program, featuring Tania Leon’s Stride, followed by Maurice Ravel’s Piano Concerto in D for the Left Hand, with guest pianist Seong-Jin Cho. The program concludes with Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring based on his vision of a pagan Russian girl many years earlier.
Following the morning rehearsal, the bus will take us to the Prudential Center where you will enjoy lunch on your own at one of the many restaurants there, including: The Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, Eataly, Wagamama (Asian), and Sweetgreen (health food), to name a few. You may prefer to do some shopping in one of the many elegant boutiques or just people watch. We’ll depart for home at 3:30PM.
