October 4 - SEATed Exercise Class - Really!
S.E.A.T. (Supported Exercise for Ageless Training) is a
chair-based program offering a full body, low-impact
workout with options to suit the needs of clients with a
range of abilities and skills. It requires little or no prior
experience for participants to feel comfortable and
have a great workout. It helps with muscular
endurance, joint stability, flexibility, and balance. It also
increases synovial fluid to joints as well as helps to
increase independence through improved physical
health and cognitive function. Join us for a class to
experience its benefits and have fun! Joe Mone, our
class teacher, is a Fitness Instructor at The Works,
Family Health and Fitness Center in Somersworth, NH
and throughout the NH seacoast area. He is certified in
S.E.A.T., Water Fitness, Tai Chi and Qi Gong, and Active
Aging Group Fitness.
