Pre-Orientation Programs
The University offers several experiences for
first year students prior to the beginning of the fall semester. These
programs allow students to meet other entering students and upperclass
students in small groups.
PrOVES: Pre-Orientation volunteer experience in community service
CONNECT: Pre-Orientation program
PAWS: Pre-Orientation Adventure for Wildcats
Back Country Adventure Travel: KIN 551 is both an pre-orientation experience and a 3 credit UNH class.It is open to first-year students and taught by faculty in the outdoor education program in August.
NH Outing Club: A student organization led by students, all whom have completed Wilderness First Aid and are experienced in running outdoor adventure trips.
Marine Immersion: Start your college career doing marine biology on a beautiful island this August!
