The Center Square: New York's GDP particularly affected by pandemic, analyst says

New York is one of the states hardest hit by the coronavirus pandemic and ranks 13th on WalletHub’s list of states most exposed economically. According to research published by Carsey School director Michael Ettlinger and Policy Analyst Jordan Hensley, the net job loss due to COVID-19 from February 2020 to February 2021 is 10.8 percent.

UNH researchers have received an Academic Research Enhancement Award (AREA) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study tiny antenna-like projections on the surface of brain cells, called neuronal primary cilia in an effort to understand how they regulate hippocampus-dependent memory formation.
