As winter approaches, join UNH in helping those in our communities who may need some help staying warm this year. The Basic Needs Support program, UNH Athletics, UNH Parent's Council, the Office of International Students and Scholars and a dedicated group of faculty and staff are seeking winter clothing donations. UNH will be collecting gently used (in good condition) or new coats as well as new hats, gloves or scarves at a host of Family Weekend events, including a number of sporting events, and in bins at several locations until Oct. 29. Friday Oct. 24, 2025
- 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.: Parentworkshop, MUB Theater (Family Weekend activity)
- 7 p.m.: Men's hockey vs. LIU, Whittemore Center Arena
- 7:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.: Comedian, MUB Granite State Room (Family Weekend activity)
Saturday Oct. 25, 2025
- 9 a.m.-2 p.m.: Wildcat welcome area, Hamilton Smith (Family Weekend activity)
- 1 p.m.: UNH football vs. William and Mary, Wildcat Stadium
- 4-6 p.m.: Wildcat social, Holloway Commons Piscataqua Room (Family Weekend activity)
- 7 p.m.: Men's soccer vs. NJIT, Memorial Field
- 7 p.m.: Men's hockey vs. Quinnipiac, Whittemore Center Arena
Sunday Oct. 26
- 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Farewell brunch, Holloway Commons (Family Weekend activity)
- 1 p.m.: Volleyball vs. NJIT, Lundholm Gymnasium
- 1 p.m.: Women's soccer vs. UMBC, Wildcat Stadium
We will also have bins available in the following locations from Oct. 21-Oct. 28th:

- Student Life office (bin will be located on the first floor of Thompson Hall)
