As UNH parents, you know firsthand how many joys, opportunities and challenges students can experience as part of their college career. Now imagine trying to manage it all — classes, research, jobs, activities — while homeless.

That is a reality for some of our UNH students, and that’s what has prompted the creation of Inn Between, a new way in which Wildcats can support other Wildcats.

“This fund is available to UNH students who are challenged with homelessness and can be used to pay for housing at UNH during Thanksgiving, spring break and January Term,” explains Joan Glutting, senior faculty fellow for student life and clinical associate professor of psychology.

Members of the UNH community may contribute to this new effort at Inn Between Fund. Additionally, staff and faculty can contribute directly from their paychecks by visiting www.unh.edu/give/how-to-give, selecting payroll deduction and typing “Inn Between” as the fund name.

Know a student who might be helped by Inn Between? Please have them contact the Office of the Dean of Students at 862-2053 or email lynn.beaver@unh.edu
