UDay Introduces Students to More Than 200 Groups and Organizations
After rain forced a one-week postponement, the weather delivered a beautiful afternoon and the usual huge crowd filled the heart of campus for the annual University Day (UDay) celebration Sept. 10, as one of UNH's most anticipated fall traditions introduced new and returning Wildcats to more than 200 student clubs and campus organizations.
An enthusiastic crowd of students, staff, faculty, and Durham community members filled the street and Thompson Hall lawn for the UDay community picnic, which featured a performance by the UNH marching band, a variety of food options, and a throng of student groups and organizations eager to recruit new participants. The event is one of the best ways for students to explore the wide array of offerings available on campus while making new connections with fellow Wildcats.
