LTC Linwood Bubar

A native of Millinocket, Maine, LTC Linwood Bubar has served in light, airborne, and mechanized formations throughout his career, holding leadership and staff positions from Platoon Leader through Battalion Operations Officer. His assignments have included both operational and institutional roles, where he has trained and developed Soldiers and Cadets to meet the demands of the Army profession.

He is a graduate of Ranger School, Jumpmaster School, and Pathfinder School. His military education also includes the Infantry Officer Basic Course, Maneuver Captain’s Career Course, and Intermediate Level Education.

LTC Bubar is married to the lovely Kate Bubar, and together they have two sons, Aiden and Max.
