Erin Linhares is a Senior Airman and Aerospace Medical Technician in the New Hampshire Air National Guard currently serving on Active Duty orders as part of the state's COVID-19 pandemic response. She is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in communication sciences and disorders and is working towards becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist. To that end, Erin will therefore be pursuing a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of South Carolina this coming fall. Erin chose UNH due to the variety of opportunities the university offers, such as clubs, sports, and the Military Veteran Services office. Her advice to incoming military students is to “not be afraid to ask for help within the MVS center; the employees are there for you. Any struggles with professors, or VA struggles, living situations, upcoming deployment, they will help you and if they do not have the answer, they will find the answer for you.”
