Mary Johanna Brown Named UNH Paul J. Holloway Entrepreneur of the Year

Mary Johanna Brown '89, founder and president of Brown & Company Design and Big Brown Books, has been named the University of New Hampshire’s Paul J. Holloway Entrepreneur of the Year.

Brown, who graduated from UNH with a BFA in etching, will be recognized at this year’s Paul J. Holloway Prize Competition, UNH’s premier business plan competition that celebrates student entrepreneurs and innovators.

Discovering the Diverse Skills of John Mehrmann: Composer, Performing Musician, and Educator

John Mehrmann is a composer, pianist, organist, choir director, percussionist and teacher who resides in Maine with his wife, Abigail, and two sons. His musical talents encompass many genres and styles, from directing the a cappella choral ensemble VoXX: Voice of Twenty to composing soundtracks for feature films.
