The latest in a series of studies commissioned by the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) and the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) found that academic-industry partnerships  supported 4,272,000 jobs during the years 1996–2015. 

Concord Monitor: Teachers Work to Broaden History Classes

After participating in a book discussion led by NH Listens, a group of public school teachers are working to broaden history lessons. Kyra Dulmage is part of a fifth-grade team rewriting the social studies curriculum to highlight contributions of marginalized groups, including Native American Indians. This summer, she and her cohorts are meeting every two weeks via Zoom with Bethany Silva, who directs the Community Literacy Center, a resource for pre-K through 12 learners, families and educators at UNH. 

Looking Toward Fall

If this were any other year, we wouldn’t be talking about plans to reopen UNH in the fall. It would never have closed. During any other summer, campus would be teeming with activity as a mix of students attended classes and sports camps and youth enrichment programs.
