MEDIA ADVISORY: UNH Carsey School Unveils Toolkit to Assess Civic Health
WHAT: The Carsey School of Public Policy at the University of New Hampshire will launch a new toolkit, Local Civic Health: A Guide to Building Community and Bridging Divides, to help local citizens assess the civic health of their communities. Civic health reflects the strength of local democracy, including factors such as how much people trust each other, show up at public meetings, get involved, vote and help neighbors. The new guide, which helps people in New Hampshire cities and towns understand how their local community’s civic health stacks up, is a follow up to the 2020 New Hampshire Civic Health Index, which examined civic health overall at the state level.
WHEN: Tuesday, March 14, 2023, 12-12:30 p.m.
WHERE: Register here for the virtual launch.
