Scott Weintraub

Associate Professor

Dr. Weintraub's scholarship focuses on 20th through 21st-Century Latin American literatures and cultures. His work focuses on poetry; electronic literature; digital humanities; the relationship between literature, philosophy, science, and technology; and critical theory and cultural studies.

His publications focus on several related, interdisciplinary areas of interest: experimental literature, literature and philosophy, and literature and science/technology. Through innovative approaches to these three focal points, Dr. Weinbrub has become an internationally renowned scholar in several related fields: Latin American avant-garde and neo-avant-garde poetry—especially from Chile—and Latin American electronic literature.
