Botanist Barry Rock's research and publications have focused on remote sensing of vegetation. In 2001, he was the lead author and general editor of Preparing for a Changing Climate: New England Regional Overview of the Potential Consequences of Climate Variability and Change.
He has developed several programs that introduce field science to pre-college students.
