Daniel Remar

Assistant Professor of Hospitality Management

Dan Remar is an assistant professor in the Hospitality Management Program at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.  His research looks at sustainability in food service and consumer behavior, and has been published in top-tier peer-reviewed journals--including the International Journal of Hospitality Management and the Journal of Foodservice Business Research.

Professor Remar also brings his extensive work experience in restaurants and food service from the United States and France into the classroom, where he leads the food and beverage aspect of the curriculum. Currently, he is working on a federally-funded research grant looking at introducing more sustainable seafood options to restaurants.
