Kimberly Mitchell's areas of research include youth Internet victimization, juvenile prostitution, and child abduction. She has directed and/or co-directed several projects including the First and Second Youth Internet Safety Studies, the Survey of Internet Mental Health Issues, the National Juvenile Online Victimization Study, and the National Juvenile Prostitution Study.
