Lisa Jones

Research Associate Professor of Psychology at the Crimes against Children Research Center

Lisa Jones studies child abuse and neglect and understanding and improving the community response to victims. She is involved in several projects including a Multi-Site Evaluation of Children Advocacy Centers (CACs); research on child maltreatment trends during the 1990s; and a population-based study of predictors of interest in foster parenting. She is also initiating projects studying the community response to statutory rape victims and the impact of media publicity for child victims of abuse and crime.
