Jeremiah Johnson

Professor of Data Science

Jeremiah Johnson is a data scientist who researches deep learning, large-scale machine learning, and artificial intelligence. His recent work focuses on applying deep learning to image analysis tasks in medical imaging. He directs the analytics bachelor of science program at UNH, an innovative, forward-thinking program that he designed and implemented. The analytics program at UNH Manchester is one of only a handful of bachelor-level analytics programs in the nation.

Professor Johnson is also the founder and principal of Gorilla Data Science LLC, a data science consulting firm based in southern New Hampshire. He teaches courses in programming, computer science, mathematics, statistics, and analytics.  He is able to speak to the media on the following topics: analytics, data science, data visualization, predictive modeling, and high-performance computing.
