Rob Haskins joined UNH in 2004 and specializes in American music created since 1940, particularly John Cage, Philip Glass, Steve Reich, and John Adams.

He is interested in the intersections between music and visual art, music and theater, and diversity in popular music and classical music traditions. As a long-time music journalist, he is very familiar with the presentation of ideas for media.
