Inclusiv Members Now Qualify for $5K Education Award for Carsey’s Master Degree Programs in Community Development, Public Administration, and Public Policy.

The Carsey School of Public Policy at the University of New Hampshire and Inclusiv recently announced a new educational partnership aimed at providing scholarship funding to Inclusiv employees and the employees of Inclusiv’s 400-plus community development credit unions (CDCU).

Through this unique educational partnership, Inclusiv employees – and the employees and board members of Inclusiv’s CDCU members – can qualify for a $5,000 education award toward the Carsey School’s Master in Community Development (MCD), Master of Public Administration (MPA), and Master in Public Policy (MPP) programs. Employees must maintain active employment or board membership with Inclusiv or Inclusiv member organizations throughout the duration of the education award.

“We’re excited to extend this opportunity to our friends in the CDFI community at Inclusiv and Inclusiv members,” said Michael Swack, Director of the MCD program at the Carsey School. “Our MCD and MPA programs were designed specifically for the working practitioner in that they are flexible and entirely online; designed for professionals in a range of community development organizations; and offers a collaborative cohort model so that our students learn not only from our faculty but also from one another.”

Inclusiv and Carsey School have a long standing collaboration that spans decades of work, building the capacity of community development credit unions, first through the CDCU Institute and later, creating a groundbreaking solar finance training program credit union lenders and most recently, with the launching of the CDFI Learning Institute.
