Data from the 2020 U.S. Census shows an increase in diversity among the adult population in rural counties. The Daily Yonder recently examined this change and included insight from Ken Johnson, senior demographer at the Carsey School, who explained how people of color and Hispanics are contributing to the growing population in over 95% of rural America.
