Childcare for children under the age of 12 has been a struggle for many households in the recent years. An article from the Berlin Sun examines research conducted by Jess Carson, research assistant professor at the Carsey School; Jonathan Koltai, assistant professor of Sociology; Rebecca Glauber, associate professor of Sociology and Carsey faculty fellow; and Tyrus Parker, a doctoral student with the Sociology department at UNH. “Any illusion that the childcare crises of early 2020 were transitory and now resolved is incorrect,” write the researchers.
