In a recent article by The Valley News, countless women have spoken out about their first hand sexual harassment encounters while working for the Upper Valley cleaning companies. Kristen Smith, a researcher at University of New Hampshire's Carsey School of Public Policy, provided data from 2019 that 52% of women in New Hampshire have experienced sexual harassment, a percentage that is higher than the national average.
