A recent article by Seacoastonline.com reports that struggling renters in rural Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine are among those receiving the most COVID-19 rental assistance in the country. Jess Carson, Research Assistant Professor with the Vulnerable Families Research Program at the Carsey School, calls out the government's rental aid program as the opposite of an "equity-enhancing policy."
