Child Care in NH Is Raising, Leading Many Parents to Dip Into Emergency Funds

While the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services suggests such families spend no more than 7% of their income on child care, a report published by the Carsey School shows that in New Hampshire's Upper Valley, the average cost of care for just one infant is equivilant to about 16% of the median income for families in the region.
