UNH community members getting free haircuts

Free haircuts are a hit at The Shop.

The Barber Shop, hosted by the UNH Museum of Art, is an event that combines culture, conversation, communication and free haircuts to build relationships within the UNH community. This semester, the event was held on Oct. 4.

The Barber Shop aims to educate UNH community members of the the history of such shops as pivotal centers of community-building. At UNH, the haircuts become a vehicle to build bridges between students, faculty and staff in a classic barbershop atmosphere with music, card games and snacks.
