Mary Schuh, Research Associate Professor of Education, has been awarded a Kennedy Public Policy Fellowship for 2017—18. This is  a one year intensive immersion experience in Washington DC, funded by the Joseph P. Kennedy Foundation.  As a fellow, Dr. Schuh will actively participate in public policy and legislative development in key areas such as special education, health and mental health for persons with labels of intellectual disability, child care, housing, justice, child welfare, and other areas related to improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
