Gabby Pezzelli

Thanks to a generous donor, the Humanities Program was able to award $5,000 to the writer of the best undergraduate thesis in the Humanities major. The winner for 2016, Gabby Pezzelli, wrote her thesis, “A Comparative Analysis of Traditional Film Noir to Modern ‘Neo-Noir,’” under the direction of professor Matthias Konzett (English). Her other committee members were professors David Richman (Theatre and Humanities) and Delia Konzett (English).

While preparing applications to graduate school (in either English or Film Studies), Pezzelli is working for a film casting company to gain experience in the industry. The Humanities Program is proud of all of our thesis writers, and we send our best wishes along with our congratulations to Pezzelli as she embarks on the next phase in her academic career! Don’t be a stranger!
