Students are allowed a certain number of Meals To-Go based on their elected meal plan. While this will suffice for many, there are some students who may require additional Meals To-Go based on their specific dietary needs. This could be related to an on-going medical concern, or it could be related to a temporary condition.

- All students with university meal plans already have access to a certain number of Meals To-Go. This accommodation would add additional Meals To-Go to the student’s existing meal plan.
- The specific number of approved additional Meals To-Go is based on the documented student need.
- Additional Meals To-Go do not alter the overall number of meals available through the student’s meal plan.
Student Responsibilities
Students are responsible for…
- Meeting all student accommodation responsibilities.
- Following all policies and procedures related to Meals To-Go (i.e. purchasing Dining’s authorized reusable to-go box(es) as needed, following Dining policies for use of authorized to-go boxes in the dining halls, following Dining exchange policies for authorized to-go boxes, etc.)
- Working with the UNH Hospitality Services Dietician for concerns or questions related to access or utilization of Meals To-Go.
- Notifying SAS if additional Meals To-Go are needed.
Additional Meals To-Go Process
- Student is approved for accessing additional Meals To-Go – Students are required to meet with SAS to discuss accommodations. All students proceed through the three-step accommodation process. During that process the student and SAS will discuss whether additional Meals To-Go is a reasonable accommodation.
- SAS communicates this approval to the UNH Hospitality Services Dietician and Campus Services – If approved, SAS will communicate the approval to Dining and the UNH Hospitality Services Dietician.
- Student accesses additional Meals To-Go as needed.
