Register NOW to pick up more COVID-19 testing kits

Sept. 7, 2020

Dear Students,

The first week of classes is in the books! Congratulations and thank you for your commitment and cooperation with our COVID-19 testing program. It’s time for you to pick up more testing kits and labels. Please sign up now to schedule a time between Tuesday, Sept. 8 and Saturday, Sept. 12, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Whittemore Center (zamboni entrance).

Bring a photo ID and a face covering. If you do not come to the Whittemore Center to pick up more kits and labels you will not be in compliance with UNH’s testing policy. Please register now. And please make every effort to register for this session but if there are extenuating circumstances, send an email with your explanation to Also, if you haven’t already done so, you must update your profile before you pick up your test kits.

As we noted yesterday testing will go on through the three-day weekend.

Students in CHHS, COLSA/Thompson School and Athletics scheduled for Saturday sample collection should stay at their assigned time if possible but can drop off their sample Friday after 3 p.m. if they must leave campus and the Durham area

CEPS and Paul College students must turn in their self-swab sample Monday

Students who have dropped off samples should receive an email by Saturday instructing them to access their account in the lab management system. Samples listed in green are those that have been submitted to the lab; samples listed in red are those for which labels have been printed but samples have not yet been dropped off.

And a final reminder. If you are contacted directly by the N.H. Department of Health and Human Services about a positive COVID-19 test result, or you are identified as a close contact by the state and are advised to quarantine, please follow the contact tracer’s guidance and immediately contact UNH Health & Wellness at (603) 862-9355.

Have a safe and healthy holiday weekend.
