Water Tent Information

The Earth Around Us water tent is available to schools and community groups to encourage exploration of water resources through science and art through an interactive pop-up tent and supplemental materials.

Materials Provided with the Water Tent

The Water Tent is a 10x10-foot pop-up tent with mural panels that hang on the pop-up and depict a river ecosystem during three seasons. Other materials include:

  • Kick net (if needed) (1 provided for whole group)

  • D net (1 provided for whole group)

  • White tarp (if needed)

  • White plastic spoons

  • White ice cube trays

  • White tubs

  • Dip nets

  • Spray bottles

  • Basting syringes

  • Sieves

  • Eye droppers

  • Magnifying glasses

  • Bug viewers

  • Identification keys and cards

  • Waders, if needed

  • White buckets

  • Thermometers for water temperature and air temperature

  • Water transparency tube

  • pH paper

Reserve a Water Tent

Interested in having the Soil Tent or Water Tent visit your school or community group? The tents are available from UNH Durham OR pick up at Plymouth State University Lamson Library.
