While their language is inscribed in modern names and rivers, mountains and cities, they and their heritage are often overlooked.  Paul and Denise Pouliot from Indigenous New Hampshire, along with UNH anthropologist Meghan Howey are a few of the scholars working to tell the stories of the people who had inhabited New Hampshire's Seacoast region prior to the early English settlements.  Read more about their findings
