To honor the legacies of Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall, whose careers had a significant impact on Native American self-governance, health care, and the stewardship of public lands and natural resources, the Udall Foundation awards scholarships to college sophomores and juniors who are future leaders in environmental, Tribal public policy, and health care fields.

Value: In 2026, the Udall Foundation anticipates awarding up to 65 scholarships of $7,500 each for tuition, room and board, or other educational expenses; Four-day Udall Scholars Orientation in Tucson, Arizona to meet with other Scholars, elected officials, environmental and tribal leaders
Eligibility: Sophomore and junior level college students
