DAAD offers a variety of research grants to realize a research project in Germany. The program supports research stays during a doctorate or in the early postdoc phase.

Value: Monthly stipends are approximately €1,400. DAAD will pay for health insurance and provide a flat rate subsidy for travel costs. In addition, limited funds are available for a rent subsidy and family allowance.
Eligibility: Must be completing your doctorate at a university or research institution outside of Germany; Must have agreement with a scientific supervisor in Germany
