A panel discussion on the work of the Innocence Project, a national organization that works to free the innocent, prevent wrongful convictions, and create fair, compassionate, and equitable systems of justice for everyone, guided by science and grounded in anti-racism. The Innocence Project also works with local partners, including the New England Innocence Project, to pass laws and implement policies that prevent wrongful conviction and supports exonerees as they rebuild their lives. Panelists will explore the personal and societal costs of wrongful convictions, the underlying factors that contribute to this problem, and solutions.
The panel discussion will take place in room 282 at the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law, 2 White Street, Concord, NH 03301. Please use the entrance on the corner of Washington and Rumford.
