Radioactive Permits

Radiation Training

Radiation Awareness Initial and Refresher training are available on Blackboard. Send your name and your username to the Radiation Safety Officer to be added to Blackboard as an OEHS participant.

Dosimetry

Dosimeters are issued to those using P-32, I-125, sealed sources and diagnostic x-rays.

Surveys

The Radiation Safety Officer conducts quarterly surveys for radioactive contamination and record keeping.

Radioactive Waste

OEHS picks up dry waste, liquid scintillation vials, and liquid radioactive waste. For pick ups, email the RSO.
