Federal Relations

The University of New Hampshire interacts with federal officials and agencies on a regular basis by providing Congressional testimony on our research, working with the state’s four Members of Congress on legislation impacting higher education, competing for federal grants offered by NASA, NOAA, and other agencies, and more.

The Office of Government Relations seeks opportunities to advance the goals and priorities of the university at the federal level by working with national organizations like APLU, on-campus partners including University Research, and our Congressional delegation to effectively advocate for the university and connect our students, faculty and administrators to federal officials and national organizations with compatible interests.
