Matthew Emory graduated from the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business and Economics in 1998 with a B.S. in Business Administration. In addition to being a member of the UNH Football Team from 1994-1998, Emory was an active student within WSBE in activities ranging from Minority Students in Business to Big Brothers Big Sisters. 

Out of college, Emory accepted a position in and graduated from Cintas’ Executive Management Program, where he received extensive training in strategic decision making and operations management. Emory achieved the highest honors in growth and profit and was continuously recognized within the company for his achievements.  Emory then founded, and is currently Managing Director of White Sands Development Group, a company that is a pioneer in fill urbanism. Emory’s focus has been to develop high-density, walk-able communities that revitalize, support and sustain blighted urban markets in need of reconnection to the community. White Sands Development Group has become a critical private partner for the public sector in the State of Louisiana. Some of Emory’s projects to date include the development of 900 units in the City of Gainesville, Florida, 104 units designed for the workforce of Leesburg, Florida and the current redevelopment of more than 1,000,000 sq ft of land in the City of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
