Lourdes Genao, Class of 2004

Genao Lourdes graduated cum laude from UNH with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing. While at UNH she exercised her leadership talents as President of Mosaico, WSBE Peer Advisor, CONNECT Advisor, RA for the Multicultural Floor of Devine Hall called Common Purposes, and she participated in the UNH McNair Program. She continued her education, graduating from Bentley College with an M.S. in Information Age Marketing. Lourdes has traveled to India to explore the technological growth in that country as well as to Prague, Austria, and Hungary to study communist-to-capitalist transition economies. She currently works for the TJX companies, where she is participating in the Merchandising Training Program for the world's largest off-price retailer. When she was a senior at UNH, she had met a mentor from TJX at UNH’s first-ever Diversity Networking Luncheon. She also manages a multi-million dollar business working towards becoming a buyer for the company's AJ Wright division. In her spare time, she teaches CCD at her local church and helps Hispanic students understand the American college system, helping them to pursue dreams of a college education.
