General Resources at UNH

University Honors Program:  The University Honors Program provides an enhanced academic experience for intellectually motivated students. It also draws together a rich community of peer scholars attracted by a history of academic excellence and intellectual curiosity.  Members of the University Honors Program enjoy an Honors residential hall, dynamic Honors courses, a comprehensive mentoring program, individual advising, and enjoyable Honors activities. Participants discover that being a part of Honors is more than a distinction; it is an enriched University experience.


Global Education Center : The Education Abroad team helps students discover study abroad programs and international experience opportunities around the world. Students can choose from study, internship, research and volunteer programs.


International Affairs Program : The International Affairs (IA) program at UNH equips students from any of the five colleges to take on these global challenges through rigorous, interdisciplinary coursework, extensive second language study and cultural immersion in another country. Students can combine the IA dual major or minor with any other major on campus and graduate as critically minded and responsible global citizens ready to contribute meaningfully to the world in a range of fields.


Hamel Center for Undergraduate Research:   UNH's Hamel Center for Undergraduate Research provides the resources and financial support for the research, scholarly and creative projects of UNH students. Whether it's investigating moose habitat, examining the effects of the European monetary union, or composing music for a dance concert, each year students from all fields of study receive grants to embark on their own explorations.
