The Stanley A. Hamel Traveling Fellowship is open to:
- UNH graduating seniors, recent (within 5 years) graduates, or currently enrolled graduate students (graduating seniors and recent alumni are given priority)
- Students or alumni who have a cumulative or final GPA of at least a 3.0
- Students who are proposing travel in Europe (western or eastern, including Russia) to last a minimum of 4 weeks between May 1, 2014 and April 31, 2015
- Students who possess or plan to develop some language facility relevant to the proposed itinerary
