Disability Services for Students provides UNH students with documented disabilities those accommodations, academic services, and auxiliary aids necessary to promote equal access to the classroom as mandated by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

Our Mission

Disability Services for Students provides services to students with documented disabilities to ensure that all University activities and programs are accessible. The office also promotes the development of student self-reliance and the personal independence necessary to succeed in a university climate. We seek to create a comprehensively accessible environment where students are viewed on a basis of ability, not disability.
